NUTHATCHES, WOODPECKERS, AND HAWKS

The Blue Grosbeak was seen by a few people today at El Polin Spring, but a keen-eyed birder named Ben showed me where a few nest cavities were and that's where I spent most of my time. I hope the Grosbeak sticks around.

Above, a Pygmy Nuthatch returns to the nest cavity with a tasty morsel for the young inside.
