STYLUS GLOVE This glove will have a stylus on each fingertip so that four parts of the record can be played at once. Pressing a record with quarter inch bands of sound at distinct pitches would allow you to play melodies and chords which would stay in relative harmony as the record speed changed. You could even stack a series of records, spaced apart, on a turntable and pluck the sounds you needed from their surfaces... a bass clarinet, seagulls, piano, bamboo flute. The prototype has been built and it is wireless, transmitting the record signal to the nearest radio. It is a very sensitive instrument and requires a delicate touch. ![]() |
